May Beach Outlet Haul

Hello All~

Since I live only an hour from the beaches, I hop up and go as soon as the first beautiful day of gorgeous sunshine pops up! Which happened to be lately, and I did scoop up a few little things that happen to be at some nearby stores in the outlets.

So here's what I got :

I have decided to collect exotic water bottles from all over the world!

This is a cute top I got from Marshalls.

Cute pair of shorts from Marshalls!

What isn't listed is the egg related cooking items that I purchased at Marshalls and Home Goods.
It was a little frying pan, an egg slicer, and a big egg for boiling eggs in! So adorable, right?

Sorry that I lost the reciept! : (
If anyone wants to know how much anything was, I may be able to dig it up somewhere.
This was from a while back and I just realized that I never uploaded it! (Ooops)

Hope you are having a great summer!

Xoxo,
Krystina

June Hair Haul

Hello all ~

So this is just a little haul regarding some of the hair products that I have gotten to try out : )
My hair has always been pretty frizzy and dry, so now I'm starting to focus on products that can tame it to make it a bit more soft and manageable.
All the products that I got are from a local salon or Rite Aid.

So here's what I got:

Biolage Hydratherapie Daily Leave-In Tonic
$16.29

The salon was having a sale on Biolage products for Buy One Get One 50% Off, and I had just finshed my bottle of conditioning balm, that I really loved and decided to give another product a try. Personally, I like spray leave-in products a lot more than I do balms, and I love the smell of Biolage products.

Biolage Hydratherapie Hydra-Seal Softening Mist
$14.00
BOGO 50% Off
$7.00
So I have been using my "Its A 10" shine spray, but I feel like it doesn't really nourish, so I decided to give this one a try. I may return it though, because it does have a really heavy fragrance smell to it that I don't really like for my hair products. It smells very floral. I may swap it for the conditioning balm.

Healthy Sexy Hair Pumpkin Puree Treatment Masque
$24.95
60% Off
$14.97

I was so excited to see that this was on sale! This line of products smells so amazing and I cannot wait to try it. Hopefully I can save some for the fall so my hair can smell like pumpkins when the rest of the area is!

Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Serum
$22.49

I have heard a lot of YouTube guru's rave about this product, and since its summer time and I live on the coast, we have a lot of humidity, and my hair poofs up like a poodle! So I wanted something that is going to help straighten out my difficult hair and keep it that way. My mom has always loved Paul Mitchell products, so I can trust her judgement enough to buy this. On a side note, it smells incredible. It legitamately smells like candy.
Mmmmmm.

 Redken Extreme Anti-Snap
$15.99

This is another product that I have heard so many people rave about on YouTube, especially those who have videos up about helping dry or damaged hair. I plan on getting my hair lightened in a few weeks, so I am preparing for damage control and prevention!

So that's all for my little haul!
Let me know if you've tried any of these products and what you think about them.

Have a great day!

Krystina

Sephora & MAC Haul

Hello All ~

I have not blogged in ages! I have been collecting the pictures and information for these blogs, I've just not gotten the chance to actually sit down at my computer and compile them into a formal blog post. Any who, I got a chance to go to one of the nicer malls that we have in my state and decided to pop in to Sephora and MAC and pick up some things that have been on my wish list~

Sephora:

Too Faced -
  • Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
  •  $29

So far, I do like this bronzer. It has good pigmentation and it blends very easily. The smell is one of the things that I have heard people raving about, and I can agree that it does smell very sweet and lovely.

Tarte -
  • Clean Slate Deluxe Primer Trio
  • $9

I picked up this little kit for a few different reasons. The first reason was becuase I purchased the Clean Slate Poreless 12-hr Perfecting Primer a few months ago, and I have been really loving it. It is exremely smooth and has a great silicone feeling to it that I personally really enjoy. The primer also helps my makeup to go on very easily and smoothly. The kit also comes with the Clean Slate Flawless 12-hr Brightening Primer, and the Clean Slate 360' Creaseless 12-hr Smoothing Eye Primer.

Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) -
  • Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick in #1 Nude Beige
  • $34

This lipstick has been quite the talk of YouTube and the "blogosphere" for a quite a while lately so I decided that the next time I went to the main Sephora, I would pick one up. I did a few swatches in the store on a few different stores and I can officially say that I will be picking a few more of these up as soon as I can in a few other colors. The packaging for these lipsticks is absolutely gorgeous and luxurious. They are extremely creamy, and don't dry out my lips like the MAC lipsticks do. One of the best things is that it is SPF 15 so I can wear it in the summertime and not get burnt lips.

Sephora -
  • Pro Natural Rounded Powder Brush #41
  • $36
The last thing that I picked up at Sephora was their GIANT round powder brush. The powder brush that I have has been getting a little mushed and I loved the giant size of this brush. I haven't used it yet, but it is extremely soft and I am very glad I got it.

This is the Sigma F30 Brush next to the Sephora #41. The sephora brush is much larger, and much softer. I find sigma face brushes to be a little bit scratchy against my face, so I will have to test it against the Sephora brush once I start using it. So far, the Sephora brush is larger and just as dense, but much softer.

MAC:
  • Ricky Martin Lip Conditioner
  • $15

I picked up this lip conditioner because my lips have been very dry and cracked lately, and drugstore chaptstick just hasn't been able to help me. So I am going to give this one a go. For a first impression, I am liking it. It makes my lips feel soft without being sticky.

Target:
  • Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque
  • $29, Buy One Get One Free

So I decided to throw this one in just in case someone out there was not aware that Target is having Buy One Get One Free sales on the beloved Macadamia Natural Oil products!!! This hair mask is usually around $30, so getting one for free was a big score.
I love these, and plan on doing a seperate review on the whole line.

If you have anything that you totally love from Sephora or MAC, or if you've tried any of these products, tell me about it ! : )

Krystina

eBay Beauty Haul- NYX, Skindinavia, Proactiv, Tarte

Hello all ~

So there have been a couple products that I have been hearing people rave about on YouTube, so I decided I wanted to check them out. Since I am a huge eBay junkie, that is the first place that I went.
So here's what I got :

The first thing that I picked out was the Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray. I had been using ELF's makeup spray, and was not completely happy with the results, but I had been hearing about how so many guru's used the Skindinavia line, so I went after it. I am very glad that I did, because I love it! It goes on very easily and sets relatively fast, and helps my makeup stay nice and fresh all day!

I paid $11.50 for this with $3.99 shipping.

So I have been looking for more primers to use, even though I do like my Clinique Pore Refining Solutions primer. So after watching Nicole G.'s YouTube video's one night (nguerriero19), I decided to give this one a go. I haven't used it much, but so far it is very nice. It gives my face a nice, soft feel, and it does help my makeup to go on smoother. Such a tiny amount though :(  (.25 Oz.)

I paid $8.99 for this product with free shipping.

The next thing that I decided to purchase was the Proactiv Refining Mask. I had used Proactiv years ago and did not really see the results that I had been hoping for, so I switched to Clinique's Acne system and have been happy with the results. However, I have had a lot of stress lately with minimal sleep due to college finals, so I found myself breaking out more severely. I decided to give this product another go, and I am very glad that I did. After the first use, I could already tell that my acne was healing, and I felt great about my purchase. I will more than likely be repurchasing this mask.
I also like Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask but it has been out of stock everywhere lately! : (

I paid$6.90 for this, with free shipping. (I love free shipping!)

Last, but certainly not least, I had been wanting the NYX Black Label lipsticks for a long time since my favorite beauty guru, shaaanxo, has been using India quite often and it looks beautiful on her. So I ventured over to eBay after seeing that the two colors that I wanted were out of stock on cherryculture.com and I found a great deal with 2 Lipsticks of my choice for one price. I chose India, a light coral, and Girly Pink, a light shimmery pink. So far I do like them, but I haven't found a good, creamy lip liner to go with them. I will continue the hunt!

I paid $10.99 for a set of two lipsticks, and $1.75 shipping.

Girly Pink = left
India = right

Girl Pink, India

If you have any of these products, or any other primer/spray that you are loving, let me know! I'd love to check into them : )

Thanks for reading !

Rite Aid Haul - Skin Care

Hello All ~

So this week I picked up a few things from Rite Aid that I had been wanting for a while, and I thought I would share it with all of you!

The first thing that I picked up was the Coconut Milk White Chocolate Shaping Body Souffle from Organix. I picked this up because from the first time I picked it up, it smelled AMAZING. It smells like a light, creamy coconut without being overpowering and obnoxious. I don't typically like coconut smells (like Aussie products), but I love this. It's extremely smooth and silky, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and glowy.

I paid $9. 99 for this, and Organix products were buy one get one free this week  : )

Since Organix products were on sale this week, I decided to also pick up the Coconut Milk White Lotus Body Mist as well. I wanted this product to go with the body souffle, as well as to give my skin a nice tropical smell for the summertime. This wasn't too overpowering either, and leaves me with a fresh tropical coconut and flowers smell.

The last thing I got was the Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub by Giovanni. I had wanted a new body scrub for a while, and I noticed that Rite Aid had a few on clearance. I swear to you, this product smells exactly like freshly made hot chocolate. It is so amazing. I plan on saving a lot of it for the wintertime, just to give me the extra feeling of warmth (or I may buy another one). The packaging is very sleek, and the texture is a really nice, larger grained scrub.

I believe this was originally $13.99 or $15.99, but it was 75% off, so I think I paid around $3.99 for it.

So that's all that I picked up this trip!

Has anyone else tried any of these products? If so, what do you think about them?
Also, if you have a favorite Organix product, let me know! I'd be really interested in trying it!

Thanks for reading~

Sedona Lace Jumbo Fan Brush - FB 01

Hello All ~

So today I recieved my order from Sedona Lace, which I placed on Friday, so the shipping was AMAZINGLY FAST. I had ordered a few brushes, but I was the most excited to get the Jumbo Fan Brush that I have heard so many makeup mogul's raving about.

I purchased this brush at http://www.sedonalace.com/Default.aspx

This brush is priced as $12.95, and it has a five star rating.

The handle is very sturdy. Similar color and text to Sigma brushes.
The Jumbo Fan is FB 01, a Face Brush.

This brush definitely has no problems with not being dense enough. The brush itself is HUGE, and extremely soft. Yet it still is very dense and thick.

Sedona Lace recommends that you keep your brush in its plastic case when not in use, so that the brush keeps the lovely "fan" shape.
I thought I would compare it to the ELF Fan Brush. The sheer size of the Sedona Lace brush is incredible, making the ELF brush seem so tiny in comparison.
This brush is easily double or triple the size of the ELF brush.

You can see that the Sedona Lace Jumbo Fan brush is extremely dense, especially in comparison to the ELF brush.
It is a lot less flimsy, and the overall look of the brush is much more appealing, in my opinion.

I feel as though the ELF Fan brush is good for wiping away fallout from pigments and other loose eyeshadows, but the Sedona Lace brush easily has more uses to be discovered. I have not used it yet, since I just recieved it today, but I intend on using it for highlights and all over finishing powder, such as the ELF HD Powder.
I have never seen a brush quite like this one, and I can tell that I love it already.

Until Next Time <3
